Oliver's Story
Hello everyone that is curious enough to read this. I went to High School at David Douglas in Portland, Oregon from 1966 to 1969, dropped out in my junior year, then finished up at Chemawa Indian School in Salem, Oregon from 1969 to 1971. I migrated to Los Angeles for Commercial Art School, the returned to Portland attending PSU. Moved back home to the Warm Springs Reservation. I was in the mental health field for about 5 years then went into tribal law enforcement field in 1977.In 1982 I got my Oregon Police certification and thru the years all kinds of police training. In the Warm Springs Police Department I was Sgt. of Fish & Game, supervisor for the Investigation Division 1 year, Patrol Sgt. for 1 year and back into Invest. Division. Currently, 04/2011, I am still with The Department of Natural Resources as its Law Enforcement Officer. as married before and have 3 daughters; a 38 daughter with a 12 year old daughter and a 6 year old brother. A 31 daughter that has a 2 year old daughter and 1year son , presently, my oldest daughter has custody of my angel daughters 2 children. My youngest, 30 years old is now residing at Pendleton area. I am divorced. I try to enjoy life as it comes along, never knowing what to expect. I am into pow-wows, hunting, 4X4ing, and have a Honda VTX 1300C motorcycle cruiser. I still draw, but not as much as I used to. I have been employed with the Warm Springs Tribes since 1973-2011. Maybe in 5 years (?) or whenever I win the lottery, I will finally retire, So there you have it, my summary of me. Anymore information you'd have to contact me for it. Update: I am presently in the greiving process of my 31 year old daughter that just has two children. She left this world and is making her journey last December 2009. I am still greiving for my daughter, even tho we had her memorial last January 2011.
